Busby Marou
‘Sound Of Summer Tour’

With special guest Colin Lillie

The overwhelming feeling that emanates from BUSBY MAROU is joy.
Tom’s playful onstage presence combined with Jeremy’s freakish instrumental ability has cemented their reputation as one of the most loved live bands to come out of Australia in recent times. They have created a completely unique vibe based on Tom’s everyman’s approach to story telling interspersed with Jeremy’s guitar virtuosity. They sell out shows everywhere from Surry Hills to Cairns and have an incredibly loyal and diverse following.
BUSBY MAROU have recently released their latest single “Sound Of Summer” produced by Oscar Dawson (Alex Lahey/Holy Holy).
This is the first single from album 4 which will be recorded in February and released in mid 2019.
Tickets available now through Oztix (in link). We have a feeling they’ll fly out the door!
Date: March 16, 2019
Time: 7pm
Cost: $40 + bf (pre-sale) $45 (door)

Striding into The Kingy on Saturday February 16, Sydney-born band The Strides have built their musical foundations on classic roots reggae with a hip-hop edge.

Sharing a passion for the music from the iconic 60s and 70s era that spawned so many enduring classic rock legends, four inspired musicians formed Late For Woodstock in 1998 to bring these classic sounds and images back to live audiences.

Now they are bringing their soulful sounds and their mantra ‘Tune In, Turn On & Rock Out’  to The Kingy for Australia Day and we’re kinda diggin’ it.

Sixteen years on and like a good wine, this band just keeps getting better with age.

Celebrate our great island nation this ‘Straya Day from 4pm with rockin live music, cold drinks and priceless coastal views.

Drawing influences from Jamaican Ska, Swing, Blues and big band Jazz, Pick It Up will be bringing the feel-good vibes to The Kingy on Friday 25 January from 7-10pm.

This premiere 8-piece band is making their way down the east coast from their usual Brisbane burrow, so come and groove along with one of the best in the biz.

His debut album This Was Tomorrow took Seth Sentry to the forefront of Australian hip-hop. Now hitting the Kingy live music stage on Thursday January 24 from 7pm, this is one hot Summer event you absolutely CANNOT miss!
